Defining Boundaries

Boundaries — defining them and acting on them — are relational issues, which is why they show up every-where, every-day, personally and professionally.

Blurred boundaries underlie conflict – internal conflicts as well as conflict with others around us and contribute to exhaustion, confusion, resentment, indecision and disharmony in many dimensions of daily life.   

The foundation of defining healthy boundaries is to become aware of and then clarify an authentic boundary in each specific situation encountered.  Skill is required to express and act on a boundary in a mature, respectful, relational manner that supports the boundary being regarded.

Learning this skill is a potent, juicy topic with lots of challenges and depth.  When boundaries are clear inner strength flourishes and relationships are nourished.

This dynamic three-day program combines teaching and experiential learning about discerning, defining and then effectively expressing your boundaries.   

You will also learn about accountability and consequences for when an expressed boundary is not accepted or regarded.  For those who internalize boundary conflicts into an illness pattern, there will be an opportunity to explore and decipher the boundary being expressed through the symptom.
